One of our most popular trainings, this three-day in-person learning experience helps organizations level-set understanding and advance skills. The multi-day workshops and grant learning series includes presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises focused on planning and writing strong grant proposals, coordinating and preparing common attachments, and using tools to improve grant writing quality and efficiency. All participants receive a workbook and digital toolkit.

Aly Sanchez

Director of Strategy & Organizational Learning

Aly Sanchez, Director of Strategy and Organizational Development for The Grant Plant, has more than two decades of grant writing experience including planning, proposal preparation, and reporting for complex private, state, and federal awards. In addition to direct grant development, she specializes in proposal strategy, project design, and staff and organizational development for The Grant Plant. Aly also leads the company’s capacity-building services, in which she develops learning materials, workshops, and trainings. Aly has completed UNM Evaluation Lab’s Evaluation Summer Institute and is trained and experienced in Results Based Accountability (RBA). Aly holds a BA in Psychology and an MBA focused on executive leadership.

Booking Options

All prices include facilitation, materials, and limited customization. We offer two pricing models:

  • Contracted Private Training (Flat Rate for Organizations)

    Best for organizations that want dedicated training for their staff, grantees, coalition, or members. LOCAL In-person: $15,000 for up to 20 participants (additional $500 per additional person) OR TRAVEL In-person: $17,500 for up to 20 participants (additional charge TBD for additional attendees depending on facilitation needs), plus travel expenses to include airfare, hotel, and per diem

  • Open Enrollment Model (Per-Person Registration Fee)

    Best for organizations that want to host an in-depth training but will require individuals or organizations to register themselves. BASE PRICE Sponsoring organization: $5,000 plus: In-person, local: $850/participant; minimum of 10 paid seats to proceed In-person, facilitator travel required: $950/participant; minimum of 10 paid seats to proceed
